Made from parallel stress graded timbers joined together by V shaped galvanised steel webs, Ecojoist® combines the strength of steel with the lightness of wood to produce a system that performs better than traditional all-timber joists, is lighter than an all-steel equivalent and has the added benefit of improved access for services.
Also able to be used as rafters, the system is lightweight and can reduce installation time by up to 50%.
